Hate to say it but I've been following blackjack betting strategies (both positive and negative progression methods); and the payout is less than should be expected from a 'normal' casino. Of course this being the world of Torn a fool and his/her money are soon parted so it shouldn't come as a surprise. Lesson learned.
Anyone else go through the bother of tracking bets with any results as to payout %?

It was confirmed it is rigged a bit against the players.
But there are players who can make a fortune from it.
My suggestion is if your ahead then stay ahead and dont bet anymore.

Given the overall numbers on $ alone it looks like the house advantage is in line with irl casinos, however the pure win/loss numbers on hands are out of the norm. I suspect the $ is closer since 'card counters' and higher skilled players and are probably more significant bettors.
I wonder are the odds ever tweaked? For example my numbers and yours seem highly slanted against, but I'm a noob and you are a fairly new player.
Again I have no qualms about a rigged game, we are after-all playing in the world of Torn, its just good info to know.

I was a big fan of the 'doubling up' method and thought this could never fail. Until one day it failed :(

It would work if you had unlimited funds and the casino allowed any bet size..
But torn fails on both of those
Yeah I lost all my money (which admittedly wasn't that much, cause I was broke as all hell) when I started out by losing I think 11 hands in a row doing the "double up" method (and yes, I was following "perfect" strategy, even using a chart when I wasn't sure).

Can't go by those stats as you'd be assuming 100% of players know the xorrect move to play and make it 100% of the time.
That being said, I notice I win very often with low value bets and lose heavily with high value bets.
I am not assuming, just pulled them up and used myself also as an example. Due to not wanting to go searching through a bunch of threads.
I am correct in that it is not rigged towards the players. - On occasion I do feel a bit hmm when i hear someone wining big, i know someone who did not quite get the value of the money in game and they made 700 mill plus on blackjack I was trying to be very diplomatic and convince them gently to put some aside in stocks or bank or something.
They lost it pretty fast and another player i know well, loses all the time, they enjoy that part of Torn so good for them.

In Torn BJ, my stategy other than following the chart is to stand on 14, 15 , 16 more often and let the dealer bust. You might be suprised sometimes, but the thing is, too many people hit, hit , hit and never get to see what the dealer had.
For the record Im barely ablove even all time, so Im doing better than average.
