How can you see this decision to restaff someone who was fedded because they cannot do the job as a good thing? Please, tell me because I'm truly baffled.

I know you're bias with JF* is deep, but if there's been questionable activity from a staff member and then there are irc logs that substantiate these claims, while they can't be used as fact, if the conversations are around the same time as access to those account (which can be factually verified) then I think it should be looked into, not matter what level of troll Phantom may or may not be.
This won't end well for torn.
I don't care if it was intentional or not or if they were retrained a million times. It's unacceptable.

This is what is really needed. The transparency (regardless of whether the decisions are right or wrong) that is being pulled gradually into this thread despite some others kicking and screaming trying to pull it back into the closed circle of chums.

...So let's get this straight, there is NO method to actually know what in the f**k goes on behind staff curtains, and you think that's good because it's a way to "avoid public drama"? Well why the hell would there be drama in the first place? I mean, if you're making all the good calls, then you'd get more approval for doing that, and a couple of haters here and there. And I guess I can get why some issues would be more of a drama fest, but that would mostly be because there is an even split in personal beliefs between people...but other then what should be rare instances of mixed opinions, there wouldn't be any public outroar unless you did one thing: f**k up, and f**k up REAL bad...guess what, someone f**ked up, and they f**ked up really badly.
As Critch said, JFA pride themselves on their trolling on the forums so I'd assume it's a joke. If you report the post, I'm sure it will be looked into though!
And as Henkie stated, we have no access to any personal details like that so don't worry about that side of things.
For my part, I keep myself to myself and have no idea about the things being alleged in this thread. I enjoy contributing to the game with my work in the bookie and hope that on the whole, the community are appreciative of my efforts to keep everyone happy in terms of the games I add. It's sad to read some of the posts where people are staff bashing as I would hope that anybody I have interacted with as staff, is happy with what I did for them. But I appreciate that if a person has one bad experience with one part of anything they tend to dislike the everything. Thats just life!
It's been a crazy few months and there's a lot of opinions out there on various things that have been raised recently. But Ched has the games best interests at heart so trust in him. We will all have forgotten about these things by this time next year if the game progresses as Ched intends!

as for JF biased, I've actually changed my opinion on JFK as of recently, JFA on the other hand are 99% trolls, in fact with the exception of penicillin I wouldn't pay attention to anything they say on here
as for said staff member, Ched has stated that the matter has been investigated, I'm happy with that, Ched is a lot less biased than admin who were actively playing the game and could have had personal agendas (although I'm not saying that this was the case)
marc walked away from his role, with this post along with others he's made since he stepped down, the whole thing reeks of a disgruntled former employee, to me, it looks as if several senior staffers tried to force Ched in taking a direction he didnt want to go in with the threat of a mass walk out, he called their bluff and they walked away, he's moved on and is reviewing his game and the actions of his former staff, Marc clearly doesn't like it but it's nothing to do with him anymore, he's stepped down, now he seems to be trying to stir the pot

Exactly, your just a player like me now Marc, the difference is that you have info that the normal player doesn't have from your admin days, tbh I'm very surprised that you did not have a confidentiality agreement in place, if I were to leave my employment, I cannot disclose or use info I have gained from my time with my employer for 2 years, this is to prevent me damaging his business which is something is suspect that you are trying to do to Ched and torn
credit where credit is due to Ched in the fact he believes the actions of the previous admin were wrong and has undone them, the fact he is allowing this thread to remain open for discussion just goes to show that he has nothing to hide, if he had removed the thread I would be wanting to know what he is trying to cover up
Oh, and btw, for the record, the fact that I have current staff (not diva btw) rating up my posts where I am calling you out for attempting to stir things up says an awful lot to me!

Well one possibility is disgruntled, but you have an agenda so I won't pay too much attention to your suggestions. Another possibility is whistleblower and another still is just attempting to bring a little of the much desired transparency to the table?

My agenda is simple, I want the game to thrive, I've played it long enough and until very recently was close to quitting, all this happening recently is restoring my faith in the game
you can shout agenda as much as you like, do I agree with the Midknight fedding, like most if torn, no I do not, perm deletion is moronic, I do however have faith in Ched to review these rules moving forward, will this mean midknights release, possibly not, hell, he may not even come back even if he is released! It's been along time now, I did not have that faith in the previous admin regime who seemed to want nazi rule at times quite frankly
