As far as I know that applied to drug overdoses as they have a hard set hospital time. I've not tried taking the wrong blood on xanax OD though.

Pretty sure you cant take xanax while in hospital.

if your in the hospital by some one that killed you and then you take a drug you can still OD and that time will add on to the time you already had.

Overdose rate is exactly the same in or out of hospital
It doesn't stack hospital time, it resets it to whatever the default hosp time is. If you're in hospital for longer than the OD amount hospitalises for it will actually bring your hosp time down. (Made this mistake once stacking SEDs back when that was a thing by overdosing on ketamine - 100h hosp time reduce to 16h)

Is it working that way with wrong blood bags? I think one day I've been hospitalized for let's say 3 hours and I took the wrong blood bag. If I remember well didn't change anything.
Interesting, I always thought the hosp time stacked...
I'd have thought it would take the highest time rather than the lower?.

If you OD on Xanax and you're in hospital for 80hours, then take a wrong blood bag. Your hosp time will change to 1hour or whatever the cooldown is on wrong bloodbags?.

When I was in hosp for an arson fail, I took the wrong blood bag and it didn't change the hosp time. The description did change though. No idea if this is universal for bloodbags though.

I asked the exact same question years ago and the answer I got was it will increase the hosp time and the reason for being in hosp will change to OD on xanax. but then again Torn goes through various updates and most of the previous infos go out of the window.so....
It could be wrong only in case of dirty bomb direct hit on your faction but I am not sure if this hospital stay would actually reset. And another very unlikely OD on second xanax whilst still in hospital of the first OD (still think it would increase the stay for the time gone between 1st od and drug cooldown to apply the second xanax.
The question was about increasing hospital time if OD on xanax. I do not see any reason to apply the hospital reset or mentioning no stacking hospital time in the answer.

Not that this was a Xanax OD, but it would appear to default to whatever the longer hospital time would be (it didn't add any time, but it didn't reset to the lower time of the blood bag either). This might be common knowledge but I figured I'd give it a shot.
