It may not be a bug, but its clearly an "issue" that is being reported in the "Bugs and Issues" Section of the forum. I don't know why this issue has been closed though, it has not been resolved, and … - Weeman [506086]

Im sick of logging out - clearing cache and history nonstop ... because chat boxes remain open and than try to close it and than all the chat tabs disappear.

Have you tried clearing cache and cookies, ctrl+f5 also?
I have same issue, on web and on mobile.
Edit: And when I type something when I'm "connecting to the server" this message pops up (Unable to send the message, not connected to the server.)

sometimes it shows the same msg again and again in the chat box after i pop it up even after i have cleared it......sometimes when i close the chat box all the chat options get lost.....even very old chat boxes keep coming up ((sometimes))
the same thing happens to my chat boxes. before it didnt but did the same thing without the messages in it just this week. my browser checked ok on test and i was told that my connection was too slow after 10 years. im not sure im buying that. seems to be alot of people with chat problems all of a sudden.
I will assign to vysdel to check if possible as it's happening to several people apprently

Yep, Having the same issue myself, Mobile and PC
That's not a bug. Chat allows to view chatboxes without connection to the chat server. But if you are not connected in 1,5 seconds it will show you a warning.
but that was not before.....it jst started to show only after x.mas

And it looks like a lot of people are suffering the same issue as well.
what kind of answer is that, when we are clearly having a problem....at the least you could lie and say looking into it...if you cant help us try directing us in a way we can fix this
I've been experiencing this too and as weeman said it's been taking minutes! needs to be fixed as its an issue, seems like someone with a little bit of motivation needs to be assigned to this.
