Another one that needs to be reworded. Ched himself said Verbal Cyberbullying in global or any chat is allowed even if that person has them on ignore. (Circumventing the ignore feature)

Sellers get removed from the game permanently. They directly affect Torn's economy and often entice others (buyers) to break the rules on a large scale.
Buyers get a lengthy jail sentence, this is a set sentence, no matter what your name is or what faction you're in - Although it does depend on prior offenses, as with any other punishment.
When the buyer gets released, obviously anything gained illegally will have been removed from their account, often leaving them in huge negative numbers. Not to mention the real cash they have lost, assuming the seller does not do refunds after getting their account deleted.
They're not permafedded, their case is still open for appeal, they'll probably just have to sort out what they did with staff (admit etc.) and then they'll be placed in fed for the remainder of their 7 day sentence.
Looks like Ara is just too inactive to properly deal with the report though, as are a lot of people around this period of the year.
Sellers are always deleted of course, although this can potentially be appealed to a reduced ban by paying back the maximum IRL damages, which is far more than they would have made, based on what they've sold vs DP value. In one recent case we offered a $26,107 USD bill to a big seller, they declined :(. This isn't 'buying freedom', it's the principal, making Torn whole again.
Buyers get all their RMT gains removed and some fed time - in many cases, this even renders their accounts unusable (with several billion negative wallet).
I don't see a big need to permanently delete a buyer: they lose all their gains, lose their time (ban) and most likely lose all of the real money they spent.

Im glad you are on top of this. I have played many games where the owners dont seem to do much at all, here it is plain to see you treat running this game as your full time job.
It is interesting insight that you offer the cheaters the chance to play again if they repair the damage they would have caused by selling the money.
People who cheat like this need to be stamped on i would say its even worse for the game than multi makers.
Because it's his game, and he's the developer. If all of a sudden people start charging $5 for $50m in game currency then no one will buy donator packs. He'll get priced out of his own market. He needs money to continue to maintain the game we play and enjoy. Sure, you can cry that some other game is better, but if so, 1) why are you not playing that game and 2) why are you still here?

Valdemor's account was hacked a few months ago and about 70b of his assets gone to a hackers multi or so he said anyway. mutley had helped him to write a report, then submitted it to marc (the former admin). I'm not sure if this event is related with RMT or not.
