While I agree with your points about Ched's lack of official announcement and 'signs' pointing to a WSSB soar, I don't agree with you not letting others know. Sure, you pointed them to his posts etc etc, but did you send your spouse some cash for your own personal gain?

Are you sure the leak even came from nabisco? He probably got removed since his spouse made money off of it just like how's that got removed for being in the same faction as Nash even though he wasn't there when this all happened. Doesn't mean that's where the info came from?
People have been abusing info for years under clansys control and people got removed from committee and nothing ever happened. Looks like ched is putting a stop to that, looking forward to the rest of the year now. Maybe the game can actually move forward now:)
maybe nabisco can clear up where slick got the 70 bill from and where it then suddenly disappeared too then?
oh and while hes there then maybe he can clear up why he has been removed from the committee i don't think any one is dumb enough to post over torn mails that they are planing to break the rules

Be happy with the actions taken, 24 hours ago we did not expect any consequence whatsoever to the leakers, let alone a consequence of this magnitude.
Ched said the only reason people weren't banned was because it could not be proved conclusively. So if people want to take their chances at insider trading because they might make profit off the ill-gotten money even if the initial ill-gotten money is reversed, they will need to do so with the awareness that if their insider trading is proved conclusively, they will be banned.
I don't cheat, but if I did, I don't think I'd like the risk-reward ratio of risking a ban in exchange for some time with bigger investing leverage - also keeping in mind that precedent has now been set and if something like this happens again, I'd bet the hammer comes down much quicker.
I see this as a good first step, but let's be honest, give me 100 bil of profit I gained through insider information and I'll flip that a few times in 5 months triple or quadruple that. Then Id use a shit ton of stat enhancers and all of a sudden I'm Prince Joseph Abu from Nigeria, beating players that I wouldn't have been able to beat without those stat enhancers with my golden ak and the best duals and armour that money can provide. Who is Prince Abu? Don't worry about all of that.
