It's actually more pathetic for them. Not only did they go back a few years to find a mail in totally different context, they then didn't have the guts to post it themselves and had to send to Champion instead...to act as their champion.

Contrary to what you've said ched puts a ton of thought into every update, at least over the past couple years. There is voting and he listens to everyone on committee's input and will address everyone's thoughts. He doesn't just mindlessly accept 100 +rate thread from suggestions. I'm just writing this because I like the game and you're leading a reputable faction, I don't want people to think updates are thoughtless. This game is going to continue to get better and I'm excited for it. Hoping daily users goes back up, it already seems to be lately.

As a paying customer who has been mistreated with no actual evidence of wrong doing, I could imagine people would be pissed.

So he punishes people for 'suspicious' activities, and then has to get schooled on the facts of the game and the situation?

Robbing people of thousands of RL $ worth of in game assets, with no justification borders on criminal. It amounts to fraud, and cancelling ones subscription would be entirely reasonable. I've given Ched enough money. He'll need to restore my faith in his fairness if he wants to see anymore.

Oh, and as for inflation, it's an absolute guarantee. Donor Packs are a real and guaranteed cause for inflation. Blaming people for playing the stock market, when you control the prices of the stock AND the information regarding it is just shifting the blame.

Ched is trying to keep the wailing masses happy, and is shifting the blame to dedicated players. If he's so convinced of wrong doing he should prove it, not just resort to derogatory remarks. Many of the people baying for blood here aren't even subscribers, but keeping them happy is obviously a priority.

Yes, this is Ched's kingdom, he can do what he wants. I would think he wants to keep it going. I would expect him to treat paying customers fairly.

What Ched should have done is disbanding the entire commitee instead of letting innocent players get hurt from the actions of a bunch of crooks.

Actually it's probably almost easier as staff to "bend the rules" since they know ways to get around certain game mechanics.

yes. having a player committee is actually a good idea if you dont take into account the 1 fatal flaw with it.

it takes just 1 cheater to get on there and it really screws up the game.

there are so many cheaters who play this game and it will be the holy grail for them to get on the committee. so they will pretend to be a good boy so they can get on there.

The opinion of the *loudest not necessarily the masses. If its possible no cheating was going on why was Howsthat removed from committee despite not being in R at the time? and why was the same not done for JFK members on the committee as deft was also affected by the deduction (nothing personal JFK).

Stopping potential cheaters profiting by making sure nobody does is a bad way to go about it.

You're basically screwing innocent people to get at the cheaters.

Personally I would have let it slide and keep an eye on all of the 20 people in future. Let them think they got away with it and then crack down on them twice as hard if it happens again.

Somewhat.. After liquidating all the stuff I had been saving in my display for years. I had an extra 4b to put in the caymans. I was going to have a business venture with a few faction peeps but it didn't work out due to people not responding back to mails, that had companies for sale. So instead of letting it sit in the caymans & collect the low interest rate. I decided to take a gamble.

I would have invested 2b. But I noticed I could buy a block of Big Al's for the special ammo packs, so decided to try it out for a few months & see what I come up with. If it doesn't pan out, no biggie I'll resell in about 6 to 8 months or maybe a lil after when the price levels out or rises from my buy in price..

When I seen Hanks post. I started looking at the stocks. & when you look at the yearly graph for IIL it looks like it's sure to rise for a Hefty gain at some point.. (unless Ched decides to tank it) But upon my curiosity I started looking at a lot of other stocks & their yearly graphs. & thier's still quite a few that are relatively low atm, that look like they stand a chance of rising in the future.. So im contemplating on going back to gather another bill & try my luck at 4 more in 250m increments to see how my luck pans out in the next few months..

In the old system I used to play the stocks a lil bit. But with the way those worked out. As long as you didn't go over the buy in price threshold when the stocks rose above the buy in price. YOu could shave off the extra shares & profit pretty nicely from it.. When Ched changed the way the old system worked. I found myself having to rebuy most of my old benefits. & in which I spent a lil bit heavily to do so. & when he changed it to where only players could buy up remaining available shares on the market. & I had shares sitting there for months that no one wanted to touch. It kinda turned me off from stocks all together.. (as can be seen if you seen most of my benie blocks as their most over 1k days old..

Of course Ched changed all that some time ago. But with the way it worked out previously for me. it failed to re peak my interest. So I never played the stocks other than for benefits up until well now. lol..

Sure I mite go back & kick my self in the ass for it later. But at this point in the game for me. With not quite having enough funds to start up a rig or tv station. The buy in price of the required stocks to make it run as efficiently as possible. the never ending hassle of trying to keep employees. The constant beggars that think your a never ending atm. I said wth lets give it a go. Worse comes to worse I can at least get my $$ back with a few benie packs for my troubles.. (unless Ched tanks it) & if it does profit it sure as hell beats the mediocre income potential of flower/drug running & waiting & saving benie packs, edvd, med packs, drug packs lotto vouchers fhc's. etc. & holding onto them till they reach a profitable price. & In which they all seem to be pretty locked in for the most part these days on what they do garnish ya $$ wise..

And that's the reason why a lot players have lost their trust for staff over the years. Quite a number of players have gotten away with a lot over the years.

So we can grateful that this decision wasn't left to you.

im pretty sure ched will now be keeping a eye on certain players if he isnt then he has made a mistake.

removing the profits from 1 cheating episode doesnt fix it. he has to wait and pounce when they cheat again so he can get rid of them once and for all.

Well thats your opinion. But the alternatives are do nothing or kick innocents in the face.

They acted on it this time and potential innocents were hurt. So congratulations! With morales like yours (and ched's, apparently) I'm glad you're playing this game and I hope you are not in any kind of power irl xD

edit: It would be great if ched kept chat/mail logs of suspicious players instead of preemptively punishing them for things they may not have done

I am curious about this as well. JFA and JFK members are linked closely with deft, there is enough reasonable doubt that information could of easily passed through there committee members especially since one of the JFA committee members stepped down recently as well. If you want to be fair shouldn't those committee members be removed as well since it all seems shady? Spades was removed from committee from clansy for buying wssb stocks then trying to donate it to church after he was questioned on it, another one from there faction who was doing shade deals.

i hope you have learned your lesson from this WSSB mess. if you are going to make any changes to the stock market, dont let anyone other than yourself and devs know about it.

player committee can easily abuse that knowledge and make billions, share the info with friends etc etc



player committee not to be trusted with updates that they can easily make 100s of billions on.

they are just players after all.. so easy to get away with (they almost did and nobody gets a fed!)so huge temptation!

christ, put me on the committee if we can be in for a chance ot make 100s of billions and the only punishment is getting the money you profited removed.
