I think it stinks that + Runaway chance is in Suppression. There's a job special for that if it's what you're trying to do, or else just take your loss like a man or call on a buddy to spend his 25E to help you if you get in over your head in a fight :/
You can switch (specialisation) branches immediately if you haven't assigned respect to any upgrades and even if you have you only have to wait a minute to switch if you d have upgrades in that branch.
Note that the short wait time for switching out of a branch for which respect has been assigned to upgrades is only for the next couple of weeks until the Territory warring system is brought online.
What will happen if you elect NOT to select right to own one territory? And what are the faction bonuses for larger faction that want to have more territories?
Then you can't own any territory :P the max is 30 territories, even for the biggest and best of torn. The perks of more territories is that you get more passive respect every day
I'm not able to switch out of the specialization after having assigned upgrades...or did I not see a button? All I see is "cancel" and using that didn't change anything.
Thanks, will the passive gains start right away or is this part of another update to come down the road.. I have read several forum sites and still not clear on this. If you have 1 territory what is the passive gain or formula that determines this...
Each territory, based on it's prestige (location in the city, size, etc) will earn you passive respect per day. I assume this will go live as soon as territories do on January 31st.
Bullsh*t, a co-leader is just as important as the leader and in the absence of the leader (whatever it might be - temporary real life issues etc.) a co-leader should be able to fully manage the faction as he had been trusted to be in the position to run the faction by the leader.
If you can't trust your co-leader - don't have one, simple as that. Might as well remove the option to appoint a co-leader...
In most established old factions the leader is not the owner.
Ched -- I disagree. You're assuming there isn't team work in factions. For years you wouldn't let Co-Leaders do NAPs.
Don't baby-sit factions. We appreciate your viewpoint; however, If a leader doesn't feel comfortable with their CoLeader making changes, then they a) have the wrong Co-Leader or b) they can just not have one.
Right now we're switching and switching around Leader role in Relentless and it's a pain and silly. We work together as a team as many faction leaderships do. If a faction has a leadership that isn't a good team, then that's their problem -- not yours.
Alternatively, if you are really fixated on this -- give an option to the Leader to give permission to the CoLeader.
Why is it so difficult to mail one another? Why is Relentless frantically switching leaders around over this?
Whether it stays this way or not, it needed to start off as leaders only. I wouldn't be opposed to an option to toggle co-leader as no one wants to be tied to a game while consumed by other things.
It makes more sense to let one person control it in my opinion. I totally trust my co leader but we need to discuss and decide together what we are doing, so it makes no difference if he has access to make the changes because we will talk about it before making decisions. if we are both making the choices then it really doesn't matter if I'm the only one able to click the buttons. Just because you have the ability to do something doesn't mean you should, and in the case where it will take 100 hours to fix a mistake, letting one person make those final choices makes sense. There is no confusion, no forcing a choice the leader doesn't want to make, and no blaming someone else later.
