I'm a donator and was wondering how you acess chess

We do but i'd suggest an offsite place to do it like lichess, torn chess was removed (access from site, you need the link gangsta linked to find it but officially it was removed).

Why was it removed anyway?

I want chess merits dammit lol

lack of players/interest.

I'd play Chess on Torn, it should be particularly fun with cash bets.

Cash bets on chess in Torn would have to be very fast games, speed chess. Otherwise, people would mostly be playing one chess engine against another.

I like chess. I rarely play a game anymore, but I still do chess tactics and endgames on chess.com and chesstempo.com pretty much every day. And sometimes on ichess.org. But Torn doesn't blend well with chess, which is why it died when they tried it before.

chess merits? being here for more than 7 years and never saw a chess merit. am i wrong?

I don't think there were ever merits for it, but Torn did used to have chess. (Technically still available, if you use the direct link above, but it's no longer integrated into the game, so if you don't know the link, you can't get there.)

What about checkers and cash bets?! ;)

The problem with almost every skill game is that you can use an engine to cheat. That's why we don't have any, just luck games. The only exception is the bookies, where odds are matched from elsewhere.
