Destroys something you havent considered. The auction house.

Depending on how much play money you want to store you make a good bid on the item of say 80-90% of cheapest bazaar price.

If you lose you get a cheque in the bank for 24 hours if you win you get a item you can sell on for more.

Its my preferred method above all others of storing play money.

Your money is actually working as well when its in the auction house its not just sat there gathering dust :P

It seems I am unable to cancel a bid, so the money is stuck there until someone outbids me or the bid ends.

Still, it's a safe way to store it and as you say in the end you may end up with buying items for cheap.

Yes you cant cancel a bid. But your money is working when doing it and if you really want your play money back you can get a friend to outbid you :P

I haven't checked the pricing on cars in a long while, but as a new player, I kept a small bit of cash in cars that could be sold immediately to City Docks. Essentially 100% liquid asset.

Back when it mattered to sell back to the city for net worth, I 'flipped' cars at a small % loss to Docks price. It requires lots of clicks, but it wasn't uncommon to make a few dollars profit.

cars is actually a very good idea to store play money. when they are at the right price they sell fast on my bazaar so they are a excellent way of storing money. a good trader will always buy them and some people collect them so if selling them on your bazaar or the docks is unappealing you can trade them on no problem.

noice guide.. R+ ... =)

something I think can be added to the trading part of the guide:

The person starting the trade has the upper hand as he/she determines the finalizing time of the trade.
