How To Use

1. Add your desired list of names into a text document (one username per line)

2. Open Torn Username Checker

3. Click Import

4. Find your username text document and import it into the program!

5. Click Start

6. Available Usernames will be shown to the right!

What does it do, exactly?

With the Import button my guess is the following:

1. You have a list of names you are interested in using for your Torn character
2. You write the list into a text file, one name per line
3. You import the file into this program
4. Click start
5. The program now checks your name-wish-list one by one to see if they are available. (With the recent rule of taking inactive (over 300 (?) days) player names I am sure this feature is also implemented.
6. You can now export the list of available names and either share with the world or pick one for yourself.

i aint a multi, just a small tool to check multi usernames? whats the harm in that?

Approved? all it does is check if the username is taken or not? can provide full source to a staff member

how do you find a player by name using Torn Api?

I know how to find a player given his ID, but not with his name.

This doesnt use API?

My username resolver uses the NID links that you will find under the marriage icon. I suspect this does the same.
