The woman struggles to find her feet, blood pouring from a gash on her forehead. She cannot remember how she got there. Looking back she can see an ambulance in a ditch. In front of her she finds a dirt road, slinking of in the distance to the vague outline of buildings. Slowly she starts stumbling along the path, keeping her eyes trained on her feet, making sure they move one step at a time forward.
A young paramedic survived and is now trying to get out the car. It takes a while, but finally she manages to do so. Thanks to her quick thinking and calmness needed for such a stressful job, she puts first aid kits into a backpack and tries to contact the patient
''Are you sure you don't want me to have a look at your wounds? I think we should stick together''
Uncertainly the patient turns around when she hears a woman's voice behind her. Just missing the bullet aimed for her heart, instead it hits the soft flesh of her arm, spinning her to the ground. Desperately she starts crawling back to the paramedic and the relative safety of the ambulance.
Paramedic waits until they are both in the back of ambulance, shuts the door and finds a injection. She fills it with thiopental, which is a anestetic and hypnotic drug. She could use it on the attacker if he moves towards us.
* You follow the story line and insert yourself as a character or narrator (putting in events to help the story line along) .
** You can choose to be the shooter with a hidden agenda (I can pm you about it) or another survivor of the crash or just the narrator telling the story.
The patient turns to the paramedic. After staring at her for a few seconds. A memory surfaced.
"We were.... together, you were...you were shouting at me to get into the ambulance."
A shadow detached itself from a tree, the sniper rifle lowers. The shooter watches the spinning away car with interest. He recognized the woman with the paramedic uniform.
"Things have just become a lot more intriguing, if she is involved, the mark must be someone of importance."
Quickly he finds the hidden motorcycle and gets it running. He follows the car at a distance, ignoring the little repetitive voice in his head; "You should have killed them all, there will be consequences."
"Wh...where am I?" The patient suddenly awakes fully. Anxiously she turns her head around to see the room. She spots Arney and the paramedic at her feet.
"Why am I here? What are you going to do to me, haven't you stuck me enough with needles?" She starts struggling against the restraints, with that ,her sleeves lifts to reveal arms heavily abused by strange markings..
[image: i1040.photobucket.com] "Hmm...I don't think there are any files...and did you notice that there are no one here. Where are all the people? At least one person should have been here to greet us."
Uneasily Arney starts looking around, everything is eerily quiet. In their haste to get the girl in here, they didn't pay much attention to their surroundings. No he wish he had, something doesn't feel right.
Arney's nervosity seems to be contagious. Paramedic realize that there indeed should have been someone. Their most important subject and they wouldn't send a single person? No, this is bad.
''Oh god...we've walked right into a trap. I hope you're armed and a good fighter, because I'm neither. And what about her? Oh god, we're gonna die''
Paramedic is on the edge of a major breakdown, but she's holding it together for now
