On Superbowl Day, 2017, a series of widespread but unofficial ceasefires spread across Torn. Soldiers crossed trenches to exchange seasonal greetings and talk about the persistent 504 errors thrown by the Mongo servers. Those bountied enjoyed a rare day free from attacks. There were joint burial ceremonies and prisoner swaps, while several meetings ended in rousing rounds of "**** Mongo" and other less salubrious quotes involving the fornication practices of staff members.
