Super-powered torn

What is happening in Torn? We believe it's a regular city, just with a much higher level of criminal activity. But is that it? Just think about your experience attacking any Behemoth player. Unless you've "trained" your "strength" in the army for a few months (or the gym for a few years), you can hit them with multiple rounds of buckshot from a frickin' Jackhammer for 0 damage! They'll just shrug it off like nothing.

It's time we recognised that this isn't "natural" or "human"! Are the drugs we use, just "drugs"? Are the gyms we train at, just "gyms"? What experiments or performance enhancements is the Army using to turn volunteering soldiers into super-powered killing machines? What makes a jackhammer round (which hits the target) from a new player, so different from that from a professional thief?

but what about the people that move here every day? all the so called 'new players' they couldn't also be the descendants of aliens

How do you know they're not aliens themselves? Or illusions? Or programs in the matrix?

Come to think of it, some new players could easily be chatbots.

Chats = Some variant of "give me money" that makes you wonder if they understand warnings and good advice... Tornspiracy??!

My vote is aliens. The reasoning behind it? Dragonball Z. They were aliens. Bullets didn't hurt them. Also, the more they trained the better they got. Aliens. Also Superman.
