Better question is why Win7? Why not Win10.

I downloaded windows 7 ultimate a while ago and still using it, it updates and everything, works great.

if you have internet it makes no sense to buy any software if you have knowledge how to get it free.. luckily not everyone does, they fund the making of new software while we get it free! :D

Windows 10 is pain in he hole if you have shitty internet...unless they've sorted the automatic updating thing yet? 7 is pretty good. I'm a child of DOS though, Windows 3.1 for the win!!!!

I used to use linux alot around 5 years I was a big Mandrivia fan anyway about 5 years ago when my Dad died I wanted to use windows movie maker and got back onto windows in the last 3 or 4 months I've been back playing with linux and every distro I have played with is bloated and slow ok the machines I was installing linux on arent the newest but they are quad-core with 4 gig of ram windows 7 runs all right on them Linux has gone no where in the last few years it seams I.m yet to find a distro I would consider much use for everyday internet activity's everyone I tried had something wrong with it as in it would end up slow or unbootable in a couple of days. If you want to play with system configurations ect linux might be all right but if you just want to do your stuff on the computer and go outside after that I wouldn't rely on linux. As a computer git said to me years ago linux is linux don't expect much from it as a desktop.
