Jews were forced out of Israel dozens of times... They went to Europe to escape from the constant persecution they faced. Then of course they faced more of it there. Finally, they got help establishing a single country to call their own and feel safe in, and now they can't even do that.



You can't just point out war crimes by Israel, and selectively ignore the vast number committed by Palestine, or ignore the aid Israel gives Palestinians, or the fact Israel has tried to help Palestinian children who then turn around and shoot those soldiers. See, I can make it one-sided as well.

The right to freedom for Palestinian people isn't what is being debated, land rights of nation-states is.

Palestinian freedom =/= rights to specific lands, in the same way that supporting freedom for Scottish people =/= believing Scotland should be an independent nation, and believing in freedom for British people =/= supporting brexit.

Palestine... a recently reused ancient name for the place given by the Romans to piss off the Hebrews who just wouldn't submit. The place now called Israel, formally Judah... then renamed Palestine by those meddling oppressors the Romans has changed hands dozens of times in the last 2000 years, before the Israelis took control it was part of the Ottoman Empire, and then fell into the hands of the UK who took control of management, and then the disenfranchised European Jews decided to move in and fix the place up. They built stuff. Farms. Schools. Hospitals, etc. The roaming Arabs thought, hey that place the Jews have built up looks pretty nice... lets see if we can move back in, and since the Arab nations around the place didn't want a bunch of Jews laying claim and setting up a nation they decided to suddenly be interested in this bunch of Arabs who lived there, and poof... years and years of bickering, killing, blame-game bullshit, and you get the shit show we currently have.

And yes, the current government of Israel is indeed trampling over the agreed upon lines and in general not treating the Arabs there who call themselves Palestinians very nicely, but that is in no small measure due to the fact that many of those Arabs hate the Jews, and have caused much trouble since 1948.

It was a mistake to allow a religion to form a nation in the middle of the same place a larger and growing religion already had dominance, but the deed is done now, and has been done for nearly 70 years. The Arab nations in that part of the world have had ample opportunity to help the Palestinians, who they have largely dismissed except to use as political fodder for their opposition to Israel. But it is equally wrong to kill athletes in the Olympic village, blow up buses, blow up schools, and wage religious wars on people who the majority of whom have nothing to do with the governments anti Arab policy.

It is time for both sides to stop the nonsense... there are victims on both sides, and saying otherwise is part of the problem.

Israel were the promised land to the jewish people. I believe they got and lost it a few times in the bible, it ended with them losing the land because they were the "synagogue of satan" according to Jesus (for not believing in him). Nothing has changed, the jewish people does not accept Jesus to this day, and therefore the religious claim on the land is worthless.

Most christians today are zionists because of singled out verses saying "I will bless him that bless thee, and curse him that curse thee" to the jewish people, not realizing it's about a spiritual "jewish" people (jewish = God's people in the bible). The promise is the the spiritual "Jewish" people, not the seed of Abraham.

What baffles me is that Christians has been able to blind the entire western world to the "we must support Israel!" bullshit. Why should a Palestinian worker pay tax to fund a war against his own nation? It makes absolutely no sense at all. If a Palestinian man works at the same place as a Jewish man, both should be able to fund either side from their own money, without it being government controlled. Imagine working in a foreign country, paying tax to obliterate your own country... Take a moment, take a few breaths, and imagine funding the bombs killing your own family.

Neither side is going to win the war. You cannot win a fight, you can only gain an enemy. The more you fight, the more you want to fight. It is never-ending. Nothing good will come from war, and neither side has any "godly right" to the land (although both sides believes so).
