Does anyone know if there's any good IRC app for android phone/tablets?
I had one on my phone a while back but if the screen went off or you click any other app you were automatically logged out

AndroIRC is what I use on my phone.
I used to use AndChat on my Android Phone. Didn't try anything else as this got the work done. Haven't used IRC for a long time so don't know if there are better alternatives.

nope, never had any problems with it, though I rarely use irc these days.
I'll have a look at that in a bit AndroIRC seems to be doing the trick so far
