Hey i thinking of buying the bazzar but it would really kill my money, is it wort it ar my level or should i wait? What are the befnefits ?
Personally I would suggest against it at your level. The main benefit of the bazaar is that you don't have to pay a fee and so can actually sell stuff cheaper than the item market. On the flip side, you can easily get trade mugged.
That's when somebody buys something off you and then mugs you to get their money back. Yeah it's really scummy but it happens.
It is worth it if you can afford it it really helps a lot in saving money in long term. Once you buy it you don't have to pay the tax for posting items in item market also you don't have to sell a item for a low price to a trader you could sell it on your own at market price. Also to have protection from buy muggers you should try flying to other countries once you add stuff in your bazaar.
When you do get a Bazaar (which would be best done later game when it's safe to purchase), it might not hurt to ask people who to add to your blacklist for safety purposes (or now even, some people will also try to scam and trade mug you).
If you spend all your money to get a bazaar then you wont have any money left to buy stuff to put on your bazaar.
This is a problem if you have nothing in your items list to put on your bazaar.
The benefit of having a bazaar is that hundreds/thousands of people will see your stuff if its the cheapest bazaar in the game for a item. There can be some downside with vultures who will buy from your bazaar and try to mug you, the only long term fix for that is to train your stats.
Though you can cower in hospital or travel when listing expensive stuff on your bazaar.
If you intend on trading then you definitely need to keep some cash/items to continue trading with after purchasing a bazaar. Aside from that I would recommend getting the bazaar asap if trading is your playstyle.
The listing fee might not seem that major, but it's huge. On high volume items that you might trade, like plushies, flowers, meds etc. 3% may be a sizeable chunk of your profits. The same is true on higher value items like FHCs, DPs etc where a few percent can mean millions, or tens of millions.
Also, people are often too lazy to buy off the item market and will pay more to buy in bulk from a bazaar. More sales + more profit is a no brainier for a trader.
Good luck
Thanks for the advice guys think im going to hold off for a small while and work on getting more money first.
Get to level 15 then buy one.
When you fill your bazaar you fly somewhere to reduce the chance of some asshat muggin ya after purchase.
And it happens ALOT!
Who would you suggest asking for a blacklist?
How high of a value is considered "expensive"? Or are there buy muggers of all levels, so it doesn't matter?
You can start sell your stuffs directly (selling beers and bricks is the easiest one) to some (safe) traders. . Once you reach level 15, you can make more money by travelling (buy flowers/plushie from other countries and sell them back in torn)... And yes, when you have enough cash, buy your own bazaar. Gives you more profit in long term
Okay cool so need to add to my black list ?
I mean, there are some people who are avid with their blacklists (or they can just ask global, they aren't often helpful but they can be from time to time.)
Expensive is more of the beholder rather then the seller, but usually over 1mil can result in a buy mugging. And there are buy muggers of all levels, but it does matter. If you put a person on your blacklist, they can't preform any transactions with you. This means they can't buy mug you or scam you which is a good idea in my book.
