How does the loakshark mugging you mechanism work?
you attack him, normally with a group, you beat him and then you click mug.

After you've not paid him for a long time, not sure the number of weeks, he starts mugging you for the money... Anytime you've got money on you, and out of jail/hospital/flying, he will mug you for the total amount of money on hand, until your debt is paid
Or if you downrate duke's posts.
Then he mugs you but it's using the regular mug mechanic that only takes a certain percentage.
