The faction I am in has just started an assault on another territory. With only a couple of online members, the defenders have recruited some new players who are 0 days old. However, it is impossible for us to remove them from the siege. This seems like a bit of a flaw in the design of the system.

In chaining it doesn't seem like much of a problem, as a new player will have very little impact on the opposing team. In a siege however, a level 1 player has just as much impact as a level 100 when it comes to the timer.

For this reason, I think the new player protection should be removed for all those who join a siege, or there should be an age / level limit on those that want to join, or the need to have been a member of the faction for "x" number of days.

New players can be attacked by factions who are at war with their faction. Just declare war on their faction and your issue is solved.

We've tried that, but players with an age of 0 are still protected.

'Recruited'

Interesting word choice there. But I believe they fixed the other loophole when lotto winners were found to be occupying wall spots.

This will most certainly be fixed, you just have to scream loud enough to be heard.

That is the sort of thing multi cheating nerds do. Try reporting them. Seriously.

The nerds really do have tiny minds to do stuff like that.

Actually this was re-added due to the protection complaints of people losing protection before 14 days.

But that was before territories.

You got three days, if you can't win a territory war against a faction of level two multis in two days the problem isn't with the multis, lol

If a faction is clever about it, it could still be exploited. They can replace the multis on the wall after day 1 with newer multis who have another 24 hrs protection. Repeat on day 3 and the territory is done.

If they wanna make multis to risk their main accounts that's their risk. The game shouldn't be changed to accommodate cheaters.

Assault two or three territories at once, they can only get so many noobs in their faction. There's so many solutions to this, yet you pick on the one thing new players who join a faction still have as protection...

If you insist on a change of mechanics, why don't you just suggest people with newbie protection simply cannot join walls yet? []

no the main issue is that this shouldn't be in the territory war, if they join the territory war, they should lose that protection. Or perhaps allow only players over 14 days to join the territory war.

I don't mind people having the 14 day new player protection, but at the moment it's just going to be exploited as we're seeing.

Or are you not wanting this to be fixed so you can exploit it yourself?
