JFA was going to leave the post in VIP so it would hold no weight as the majority of posters would not be aware of the rule and therefore, it would be unenforceable. We are also awaiting his response for what he will do when people are at 0 karma and continue to down-vote because they have no incentive to stop. He has not thought this idea through, and must have posted on a whim.
However, Chedburn could also be referring to Brando in his post and told us to stop as a hint he would reset Brando himself if JFA stopped downvoting him and Brando continued. This would save us quite a bit of time.

Many people find spamming pictures and walls of nonsense to be reason for a downrate.
I don't see the point of Ched's post and I can't imagine there will be a problem when people continue to downrate him. Some of them merely decided to withhold their downrates until a certain time. Why would you get in trouble for downrating posts that should be downrated?
It's obvious what's happening here. Ched put his multi Champion on the sidelines on purpose so there's no one else to focus on except minor annoyances.
So the door was left open for a Marlon resurgence which has started Karma War II.
Was probably written to protect people who care about karma from being victimised by a bunch of childish bullies. I think Brando is a dick and that his posts are worthless crap most of the time, but zeroing his karma just to piss him off absolutely makes all these other people even bigger dicks.
Also it wasn't in response to him whining. He can't even see that thread. It was in response to a bunch of tits keeping tabs on his karma and plotting to ensure he doesn't get enough to get back in the vip forums.

And as I stated in the VIP forums how the hell is he going to tell the difference between maliciously down voting someone and someone that actually thinks ohh MB's threads are shit and deserve a down vote. Because I've been down voting him forever because of the constant spam and pointless threads.
Take my Karma if you must because I decide who I give and take karma away from. Maybe Ched and his team of staff should start paying attention to Useless SPAM instead of user's clicking a button to take care of the problem themselves!
And what makes that different from the random noobs who dislike people SA_dude/Marlon/bluesystem have all mass disliked me with no reason, seems odd marlon is being put as the victim when he does it himself >.>
You admit that his posts are trash. Downvoting trash posts is SUPPOSED to happen. The people downvoting him are downvoting him because his posts are trash.
