Weapons attachments

hello guys, i was having a convo with a faction friend and he said he have some attachments on primary and secondary weapons , lasers to be exact (+5% crit and +4% crit) , i just wanna know if that means he gets a +5% when he use the primary and +4% when he use the secondary or is it +9% for any gun or melee that he use ?

I have that laser for my primary (4% crit) and i saw an offer for the same mod, stage 2 laset (5% crit), but i didn't take it :D

All i can say is, he gets extra crit when the laser attached to his (primary) weapon

yeah i know , what i meant is, does the 5% crit and 4% are added to be a 9% chance to crit in general ? even when using melle ? or a diffrent weapon than the one who have the attachment ?

Crit Bonus only applied to the weapon it attached to, and can't attach 2 of the same type of attachment to 1 weapon (be it primary or secondary as the attachment for melee haven't released yet).
