Each damaging hit you make, attacking or defending, will help increase your weapon experience (it's why things like pillows can be easy to get xp on)

As mastery increases so too will your damage and accuracy with that weapon, up to a maximum of 25% improvement at 100%

In short, do at least 1 point of damage, get full xp reward for hit.

Xp is linked directly to the weapons it is earned on, but on all weapons of it's particular item, so if you get 100% on one Armalite, you've got 100% on every Armalite, but it does not transfer to other weapons of the same type like the Enfield.

"damaging hit" that must have been the problem, the buddy i train with defense is so high for me that i could hit him 100% of the time but it always dealt 0 damage XD

do you know if the 25% maximum improvement is additive or say 125% of accuracy 60 damage 60?
