hacked

i had my account hacked.. whilst i was asleep someone logged into my account sold all my items/points/stocks and somehow removed the cash from my account without using casino and without sending it directly.. i woke up to find that my points were missing and after checking my events soon realised my full combat armour, and my flowers/cans/stocks were also missing, casino tokens were still at 75 with no loss/profit, and there was no event showing i sent cash if i try to send cash to another player, so have a feeling they added item to market and bought it for 100m+ hence no trace of cash going from my account! These are the events that occured whilst i was offline

  i woke up to see these events, i checked bookies and bank to see if the cash had been stored anywhere on my account to realise it wasnt, i messaged a member of staff who told me to file a report on myself for being hacked, which i have done so. however i havnt heard anything back.
  
  ive since changed my password on my account so the hacker would have lost access. but its really frustrating!

File a player report on yourself, and I believe there's a relevant option to choose.

No. 24 hours is not that long. Also, do you know how to check for responses? Go to https://www.torn.com/playerreports.php rather than waiting for a mail that won't ever come.

Turn on 2fa as well if that hasn't happened yet.

That sucks. Do you by an chance play on the unsupported torn app?

Never quite understand how accounts can be hacked.

Tbere are currently zero torn apps... any third party apps should be considered unsecure.

Have you or do you use a shared pc?

And did you know that staff are under no obligation to refund your stuff?

Its doubtful you have been hacked. More phished and inexperience.

i dont share a pc and only use https://www.torn.com. and i never knew that max, hopefully they can trace it and resolve it, failing that may just stop playing

Did you change your email before this happened?

Someone tried to get access to accounts by convincing people to change their email, some time ago.

i suggest changing your password to your email or changing the email linked to your torn and change your torn password as soon as possible

hadnt changed them previousely, have changed them now tho :)
