When factions with 700,000 and 1,400,000 respect, with membership requirements like a minimum of 1,000,000 in battle stats per player, declare war on a new faction with mostly level 3-5 member, with combined total battle stats of all members of not more than maybe 300,000... is it fair to say those faction leaders are nothing but absolute cowards? Looking to make some easy earned reputation by beating on two week old players. What a bunch of losers.

Yea i started my own faction early. Big mistake mate in this game. Its not personal as said above its just how the cookie crumbles here. Can your faction and join a bigger one, or failing that stay solo for a while.
The issue here is that A) you are in an 11 member faction of low level players and B) the two factions you are referring to have a number of lower level players who need targets they can hit so that they can contribute to chains.
There's nothing personal in it, nor is there any bravery or cowardice - it's simply a numbers game.
Their lowest level players are level 15 and 16. Thank you for the support, but they are still a bunch of spineless cowards. I am level 11 and I hit level 13 players as much as I beat on level 5's in retaliation for them beating on my little minions.
There should be plenty of factions with lots of level 10-15 players. They could have declared war on them.

While most of the bigger factions only use smaller factions as fillers, some leaders do like to make smaller factions squirm if they know it'll bother you, so you posting on the forums might bring that unwanted attention to yourself.
So numbers is the only thing that matters in Torn? Because this is a text- and number based game, and just because you can abuse a flaw in the game that ruins the experience for new factions and players (as others who responded pointed out), you do - and should - abuse that flaw to gain stats faster?
With that logic anyone who is abusing flaws or taking advantage of bugs in any video game should not be condemned, but their actions should instead be defended, because "It's numbers man! You improve that k/d by hiding inside that bugged out rock, killing others from absolute cover. Go dude, pump those numbers up!"
This is perfectly acceptable, nothing wrong with it at all.
BUT
Place some bounties on anyone and you are a bully you are causing people to leave the game.
Myself I think its wrong,its classed as ok to do but the result is the same, people in hospital for days on end. The only difference is the little faction did jack shit to deserve it, where as the guy that's bountied DID do something wrong.
Its easier to blame the bounty placer for people leaving as theres not so many doing it, but you cant blame the big factions as theres plenty of them to cause a noise .
Maybe wait for the update to warring before going rage city over something you have no control over. In the meantime enjoy everyone adding your faction to filler list you just made it worse for your faction by starting this thread and acting like a complete tool...
Yeah, well if this is gonna have all the big factions rain down a godly firestorm upon me, all my little minions are gonna leave the faction, and there will only be me to beat up. Have fun with that.
Edit; It's not like we are hospitalized 24/7 anyways. Can't get more hospitalized than hospitalized, can you?

You really have no idea have you? You should look these up in the dictionary (don't google them, because 99% of the entitled generation have no idea what these mean either).
There are no 'bugs' regard what your referring to - it is part of the game.

The BBB is a new faction, short on cash and manpower, but they ain't going nowhere. The NuffleMurda will not leave the bad boys behind, to sell-out to some cheese flailers offering perks and cash bonuses.
