"Or am I missing something?"

You miss experience. Once you understand the game mechanics your perception will change. Please read this thread in one year from now. Untill then: Good luck!

Did you seek advice before you made or joined a faction at such a young age? Probably not.

You brought this on yourself unfortunately.

Also posting here was a big mistake, half the forums probably book marked your faction for easy low lvl targets

The numbers I'm referring to are specifically the number of targets - when you have a group of lower level players who find themselves needing to do 6, 12 or sometimes even 22 hits in a session they obviously need more lower level targets to hit.

You are one of those factions with lots of level 10-15 players - a lot of factions are warring now and there's a lot of competition for chain filler, so there's no point declaring on a faction to use them as chain filler if they already have 3-4 other factions actively hitting them, because they'll take up room in your warbase and probably wont be available to hit during your factions's chains.

I'd say this more of a "don't hate the player, hate the game" type of situation.

The Leaders aren't being 'cowards', it's not like they are purposely picking fights with lvl5's because they are too afraid of warring higher level players, there are plenty of factions filled with high level people that wouldn't even consider fighting back.

They simply need targets to spam hits to chain, and they probably picked you guys because they have very weak players themselves that could use the easy targets.

I'd say there is something called "chaining etiquette" where you'd offer a decent NAP after a day of chaining, avoid hitting onliners, avoid re-using the same factions every single time, etc.

Not that many do it though, and understandably so as for very active warring factions this just isn't possible in the long run.

Hopefully with chaining 2.0 things will change.

I read as far as here.

I was somewhat sympatheitc because the fraction wars are flawed and a lot of people liked it that way.

Faction wars are changing though so the future would be promising.

But you act like a bitch on forums labeling people (myself included) and all you have done is make your faction a target.

What it comes down to is not if people are cowards or are brave the real issue right here is your a little bitch and you always will be.

Respect farming has been spoiling the faction section of the game for years ,its probably the main reason for 1000`s of players leaving the game over the years . the developers have known for years and done little to stop it , so everyone classes it as normal !

i don`t think nothing will change with the new system either so , your choices are

.1. keep your faction , accept spending long periods in hospital were you can not enjoy the game to its full extent.

2. join a bigger faction and jump on the band wagon abusing smaller factions

3. play the game without factions

4, leave the game as 1000`s upon 1000`s already have because of the set up of the crap warring system .

Yes, I understand your frustration - but that could have been easily avoided when you would have done a bit of reading the forums and guides about Torn. When you like to avoid "reading the ****ing manual" and instead like to learn by experience yourself, don't complain when you burn your fingers now and then.

this is the way the system has worked for a decade. ched is releasing a new chain system this year so this will eventually stop happening.

This thread is still going strong huh? One hit wonder, hells yeah.

I have not once in this thread suggested that higher rep factions should not be allowed to attack lower rep factions. I have not flamed about how the developers should change the game, or asked for anyone to stop declaring war on us. I am just stating the obvious here. They are cowards.

Take the closer to 1,400,000 respect faction that declared war on us. If they only accept applications from players with battle stats greater than 1,000,000, there is no chance in hell anyone in our faction could ever even do a single point of damage to any of them. Attacking us for an additional 12-13 chain attacks to gain those precious numbers is nothing but the definition of cowardice.

To all of you who are calling me out for being a little b**** (maybe you haven't said that exact word but the content of your comments suggest this), thank you for taking your time. Being that offended probably means you have done the exact same thing. Then you know what I think of y'all. No need for me to repeat it.

"My generation", "I am a little bitch and always will be", "buttercup"... what you on about? I'm just pointing out the obvious; Gutless, spineless, limp dick cowards.

Edit; Ooops.. looks like I did repeat it.
Rekker [1761]

To me it sounds like the leader of the faction with memebrs 300k combined doesn't really know what a faction is about or how to run one.
Cryptic [2059197]

They could be a restart. Look at the faction I'm in, there is no way I'm over 100 million battle stats, but they say the requirement is simply just so they can ensure veteran players are in the faction that understand the game and don't get butt hurt over stuff unless there is a reason to get butt hurt over it.

Unfortunately when this chaining mechanic was introduced it didn't have a good system in place to prevent noob bashing. In fact under current mechanics it's to a factions advantage to noob bash so that way they know they can win while having the Xanax stat debuff active.

The only thing you can do is blame yourself, for making a faction with a lot of weak players, or the game for being set up the way it is. Complaining on the forums won't make you ANY friends, if anything it will make you enemies that do it just to screw with you. The best you can hope for is getting this topic graved, and delete your faction and pray people aren't too mad at you to attack you for the hell of it.
Aya_Drevis [1940479]

The weak players have no obligations to contest the strongest. You are welcome to try once you become powerful enough.

For now, setting realistic goals is a good option. If the faction cannot fight, leave it. Spend energy on building up stats instead.

Find a battle you can win...
