Torn no longer loads faction data when you navigate to your war base. It is instead loaded when you click on each faction's tab. This means that rather than refresh the page to reload faction data in your war base you will need to click on each tab to refresh that faction. Looking on the bright side this means you can now refresh factions by simply reopening their tab rather than reloading the whole page.
On click the faction name will turn purple as if a visited link, this fades over 5 minutes back to blue and the totals info in the filter container is updated. Should you want to adjust the fade out time or disable animations altogether this can be done in lines 11& 12 of the code.
Color blind mode keeps the old animations for those that need it []
I'm not sure if/why it was ever scrapped, there have still been working copies floating around up until very recently. Somewhere around the start of this month (or was it last?) there was a change in the way data is loaded on the faction pages.
Before all of the data for enemy factions came at once on page load. That means that while it may have been hidden from view you got the info of every player in the warbase at page load, which is why the full count was possible before. Now when you click to expand a faction's tab it sends a request to Torn and Torn responds with the info for only that faction. That is what broke the count and the old script altogether.
It is working fine on chrome, but settings changes you make are only applied when you refresh the page entirely, Turns out that instead you can just close and re-open the faction in question to update, which is less than optimal. Otherwise, great work you're doing, just get Mauk and others to help you pretty it up.
Was working on adding online / idle / offline filters and noticed a bug with last update so went ahead and sent this update out even though the controls aren't the prettiest.
