Random Overdose

The last time I took any Xanax was on 2017/08/20 and haven't taken any in between that time and now. Before today I even went to Rehab to clear any addiction that may have been piling up. It's 2017/08/28 and I took my very first Xanax since the last and I overdosed. This makes absolutely no sense to me what so ever.


Any assistance, advice, direction is greatly appreciated.

It's like you said, it's a random overdose. Addiction is unrelated to your OD chance.

Chance of ODing on Xanax is at 1-2%. But it's so random that there's no way to figure out a "safe period" to avoid OD.

There are people who ODed on their third Xanax. Some even OD right after they return from rehab.

Mind you, rehab ONLY remove negative effects from addiction.

I od'd on my very first xanax pill I've ever taken in this game. It can happen anytime.

Random is the word to look at here. Within a % range for each drug you have a certain chance of overdosing everytime you take that drug.

It's nonsense in real life logic but game balance.
