Duke:script and future of competitions

Elimination is a competition for users of Torn, and not something that should be run by a script autohosping players that spend time and effort trying to reach a goal in this competition.



Duke auto hosps us every few secs. Every 3-4hrs, Duke hosps our players and makes users loose 612 point. And let's not count how many more points we loose from getting revived. Other teams sometimes revive the players who forgot revives on.



If Duke would have been played by an admin by doing it manually, we wouldn't loose so many points. But since it's scripted, there's no way to win against the system. Just delaying the death.


How are we gonna play in like Dogtags if you without notice suddenly also makes duke go on a killing spree - infinite energy, impossible stats?
When can we trust what the rules for futher compos are if they are bendt and broken as it pleases you?

Oh please another whining thread. Get on with it only 200 people are being targeted. You can still win, nothing is lost yet

It sucks for the PP players that did not cheat... I totally back all of you PP folks. However, now that the cheaters are removed rally the forces and join the fight.

That's his point. You guys aren't getting it. We get auto hosp'd when out. He has infinite E. He attacks even when he's in the hospital. There is no "winning" that.

don't use a system in a way it isn't intended to be used and you won't have to worry about suffering consequences? that one seems pretty clear cut to me.

yes, but "we" is 204 members... not the other 796, granted about 400 have done less than 10 attacks, but that still leaves about 400 who can save you if you're willing to try

I really don't get this. Duke is taking away 3 points every hosp he does, and gives 1 point to Pacifists. How is that fair for the 796 PP that didn't change genders?

This is a crime game, about breaking the law. The gender thing is so obvious, I don't see how it's even viewed as an exploit. Is common sense cheating?
