You're proud of your team that's using Duke a scripted bot to boost your score at the cost of PP? Congats your team earned that #1 spot and the team that did over 75k attacks deserves to be zero'd out for your benefit.



On topic: This week proves we desperately need a new community manager.

Ched had many options on how to fix this and he chose to spend time customizing Duke to bolster Pacifists and perma hosp 204 players. That solution takes the unfair balancing of PP and gives an even bigger unfair advantage to Pacifists. It also indirectly helped OG and screwed over Short Bus on today's cut off. Not to mention does nothing for the 3 teams already eliminated.

If he waned to punish the 204 gender changers he could have removed us at any time. instead he spent all day re-coding duke? If Ched wanted to fix his mistakes 10 days late then just fix them. This whole Duke business is a waste of developer time and created an even more unfair balance of power in the problem he is supposedly fixing.

Yes you might have been targeted but by actual humans who had to refresh your profile to hit you as quick as possible and with limited E not a script with edited stats and no med cooldown that insta kills you, there's a huge difference.

You were targeted by real people with real energy, using hours of their real lives. Not a script that auto hospitalizes your team.

The fact that you think Ched's response is justified shows a lot of ignorance imo. You're responses are embarrassing, you are 100% out of line for attacking a JFK leader publicly like this. I'm ashamed.

Clansy was firm but fair in my eyes. Marc was a good replacement, but Ched got involved. That's when things started going down hill. Forums turned to shit in the name of drama and a person with no community skills took over. Ched can make a damn good game, he just has no people skills... [:sick:]

I disagree totally.

This years elimination competition has brought alot of drama, but also alot of attention across the community.

We need more of this in as much different ways as possible in my opinion, so we all stay alive and focussed here.

I love the way that the scales have changed balance in the course of only a day.

Random acts of God, I love it!!

Oh and btw, you know that you can float on water if you add lotsa salt in it, right? :p

His original thread and first response to you were completely fair and honest. Also you and pacifists were NEVER targeted... Or you guys would have been knocked out DAY 1 by pink power... Surely you understand that? A lot of us hit from the revenge list... Both times I attacked you, it was because you were on the revenge list.. It wasn't targeting, it wasn't personal. It's the nature of the competition, and all completely legal and fair.

Regardless of you disapproving of Pink Powers tactic, you should be seriously concerned with ched unleashing an omnipotent super bot on a team so he can see the outcome he wants..... There is a huge problem with that Daisy.... And many people, including longbow have stated in the past that Ched needs a community manager.... Even if you dont like PP or whatever, I dont see why you got so hostile off the start towards what longbow said... and I dont like you publicly condemning your leader like that. Longbow has done a lot for TuS and 2.1. If you disagree with him, you should bring it up in private or to Kara within the faction.

Hi Ched, I hope you're reading some of the threads.

People will call this salty, but for me, it's a complete disillusionment of you as an administrator, game owner, and character as a human being. I am unaffected by Duke's actions, but I feel similarly to Longbow - this is beyond an abuse of power. This is ruining the game for legitimate players like myself.

You are not fit to run this game. I recommend you sell it off while it has some value to someone that actually gives a shit about its future. If you aren't going to do this, please hire some developers who aren't completely incompetent, and a community manager worth a damn.

This whole elimination competition could have been cut off at the roots, multiple times. You were made aware that people would stack a single team, and could have prevented it. But you failed to do so. Then, in the days preceding the eliminations, you could have reset the teams and forced 4 random teams without a gender biased team. But you failed to do so. Then, you could have changed the elimination format so that there were multiple - 12, 24, 48, 96 - Elimination 'times' that could have enabled worldwide participation, and encouraged tactical scoring opportunities instead of one big cluster**** at 1700 TCT, thus making it far harder for a single team to dominate a single opposing team. But you failed to do so. You could have set Duke to be mildly annoying rather than utterly game breaking. But you failed to do so.

You've now given a single team more than an unfair advantage on all the remaining teams, whilst simultaneously spitting in the faces of the teams already eliminated, with no recourse of action now. You are absolutely incapable of making reasonable decisions that are for the betterment of the player base.

I hope many more people cancel their subscription - even ones unaffected by Duke's actions - who are absolutely disgusted at the poor execution of the 'fix' for what, ultimately, was Chedburn's fault in the first place.
