Erdogan is ok ever since he began hammering NATO, hammered the European Union, met with the Great President Donald Trump, and partnered with Mother Russia and the Great President Vladimir Putin to destroy CIA's taxpayer funded ISIS in Syria to help the Great President Doctor Bashar Al-Assad. Thanks Obama! ^o^

Imagine if you were a refugee and people referred to you escaping wars as a crisis. The crisis isn't that you're homeless or struggling to survive. It's that you might end up in their country.

Sounds a bit sad to me.
Tadd [595049]

The root source of the problem is the European Union and NATO bombing countries where these refugees are fleeing from. Erdogan and the Turkish government were given a ton of Euros from the European Union to prevent the refugees from entering the European Union illegally and have them settle in Turkey instead. Erdogan and the Turkish government are simply taking advantage of the tangledvweb the European Union and NATO got itself stuck in LOL. **** the European Union and **** NATO. Thanks Obama! ^o^

It was George bush and the commies who started all of this bush killed saddam one of the best leaders the middle east has ever seen and then the soviets attacking afghan then al Qaida then etc.

No doubt, blaire and bush are to blame. Its like in a classroom when 1 person doea something abd the whole class stays behind

Some are paid actors. Others are a result of educational indoctrination.

That isn't an insult. A lot of people have tried twisting the Confederacy, and its symbols, into a "Heritage, not hate," issue.

Unfortunately, those people are wrong. If you need proof, just look at the Confederate Constitution. It was a copy of the normal US Constitution except any Amendments to Slavery were removed. Ever. Even if future citizens of the Confederacy would have wanted to remove the institution of Slavery, Slavery was to be a permanent and forever feature in the Confederate States.

More proof of the truth in the hate was in the various Articles of Succession, the Cornerstone Speech--all of these things show that the war was based in slavery, thus the issues of race and hate are hand-in-hand with it.

Education has changed in some areas to gloss over this truth. Who wants to remember their ancestors for hate? Better to romanticize the time period, to alter the cause to "states' rights," despite the fact the truth is clear in their own documentation. When people hear this their entire lives, they tend to believe it and even support it.

about 20 years ago?

umm, not to burst your bubble but that is an entire load of rubbish.

This has been going on a lot longer. King David Hotel comes to mind, among many other by all sides in the conflict.

Are you saying the many African Americans who VOLUNTARILY fought in and for the Confederate army were paid actors and a byproduct of educational indoctrination too? Thanks Obama! ;-;
Wavecrest [1989660]

In the 1860s, slaves weren't allowed education. I thought you were talking about today because well, in the 1860s, slaves were instructed to fight. Certainly not "VOLUNTARILY."

"But freedmen did!"

Well, Freedmen too, because they had families that were slaves. See the previous statement I made regarding that.

They were not volunteers. They were forced.
Tadd [595049]

Were you around in the 1860s and documented the slaves and how they lived? Lets talk about the African Americans who support the Confederacy today, are you suggesting they are uneducated and indoctrinated? Thanks Obama! ;-;
Wavecrest [1989660]

Historians were. They documented the information, as well as photographed it. Any textbook regarding a detailed view of the US Civil War and Reconstruction will show this.

As for those who supposedly support it, one of them defend themselves with the ridiculous phrase, "Slavery is a choice."

The very definition of the word is otherwise. So yes, if they're claiming to support it, they're either lying or uneducated about the actual representation of what that flag means.
