I just want to put this here. I've been playing Torn for quite a while now and the forums used to be a place to go to to read some really good and informative posts by the Torn community. Apparently not anymore. It seems like Global chat has migrated to the forums and it has become a quagmire of unnecessary drama, complaining and utter nonsense. Now every day I have to sift through seemingly hundreds of posts before I get to one that wasn't apparently written by someone's schizophrenic cat walking across someone's keyboard. I'm seeing that staff must have their hands full keeping up with these inane posts and getting them graved. I hope something can be done soon to rectify this situation so that we have an actual useful forum again. Thanks.

Do i think the standard of General discussion is sub-par, in many cases yes. There are good threads too. But, as the name states, it is for general discussion of torn related things. Obviously people will want to drag their crap from chats (or other in game events *cough* Elimination *cough*) to here. Im not saying all if it would be good, but neither is all of it bad. I would not go as far as say that the "state" of the torn forums would have changed much. It is just that General Discussion has changed. In the past, most of the shit talk happened on other sub forums, now it all seems to concentrate on a single subforum.

Rules were changed to encourage more shit posting so the forums looked more active and boost SEO results
