I would like to start this with a Hoorah, for all my comrades on the front lines.Torn is having a serious set back with trust of the Torn government. People are allowing their members status go dormant (https://www.torn.com/forums.php#!p=threads&f=2&t=16022936&b=0&a=0), as in the case DMINK, a 437 old male citizen, is frustrated with past events involving staff. He says he is done with supporting the game, you could say he is taking a knee till justice is served in this great city. This strikes very deep to the heart of the city and its economy if this becomes a trend with many. Without funds to power the city, how does the city exist? For us to allow our hard work to be able to disappear would be a great shame. Torn citizens should band together, to say we will stand in the face of injustice when it effects are livelihood. We will not stand for injustice by the ones we placed in power, for we hold the funds that make Torn City possible. I found another citizen protesting against staff abuse. His name is Champion. He goes in great detail of the abuse and how it is taken care of, while many would say it was not handled properly if at all.(https://www.torn.com/forums.php#!p=threads&f=2&t=16021843&b=0&a=0). He talks of how the staff member used his power to gain knowledge of future events. How does this effect the game when the people we have put trust in to are the ones that are breaking the rules? This may give insight of how DAMINK felt, and why he is waiting it out. He is hoping that the justice will be dealt with and he can feel the same joy he once felt before the Elimination and other(s) wrong doings. For many Torn may be looking at one of its darkest moments with all the past corruption involving multiple levels of the citys economics, citizenship, and our festive events that many look forward too. This could be a massive drawback to the way we exist in Torn life. This could also be enough of a draw on the funds of the leaders, that will feel they must act on behalf of the citizens, for they only hold power if there is something to have power of. As a fellow citizen that has seen the staff abuse and had no power to fight the system, it frustrates me, while hoping something is done about it. I was chat banned for for a bogus reason by staff. I have been denied chat access on my many avocations of the subject. Torn needs to have trust instilled in the minds of its citizens once again for us to continue our way of life.
