well its come to the point where i will leave this game, ive foolishly stayed around far to long thinking/hoping this forum would perhaps get back to some slight resemblance of the old days, but sadly that was never gonna happen.and my real life work is taking over.
as i mention the old days im gonna give a big shout out to all the old schoolers its been an absolute pleasure to have been inspired by,learned from, battled and worked with some of torns finest. i wont name names as it would take to long .....well franks alias's would take a page on their own!!!
to the present there are some fine artists on torn who do some amazing illustration work, paintings and drawings etc etc and i respect you all and admire the fine work you do
to the rest well mashing a couple of images together/adding some colour/text or ripping off other poeples real world art ......isnt designing and it sure aint custom (no matter what shit you put in your thread title)....yeah you will get some upvotes and some comments "wow your work is the best" that might stroke your egos....from people who dont know any different or just dont care cus this is torn ...but take that shit to a real graphics site seriously you would get laughed at and where would your ego be then?
to all ive ever created for, thank you for trusting me with your ideas and its been a pleasure to have dealt with you all.
i wish everyone all the best for the future.
i will still be around for a cpl of days sorting out a few bits so if anyone wants to say hi or have a chat then feel free.
