Good choice! The 70-200 is a great travel lens when you don't want to do what I do and lug 50k worth of gear around the world

The other thread is dead. RIP that thread. The wife and I printed off this photo the other day for our living room. Getting prints is really rewarding. We have another frame, not sure which picture we're going to put in it though.

Youve got a good eye for composition. If you get the chance to shoot with one a wide angle lens can give some dramatic shots. I use a Canon 7D and my favorite lens thats a reasonable price is the Rokinon 14mm.

there are a few photos Ive uploaded. Although I mostly used flickr to share photos of an armored combat tournament I took photos of last year so the guys in the tournament could get their snapshots.

Just start dolf! Start anywhere! Phone camera photography is a thing too! You can learn the basics of photo composition, while you save up for a cheap canon rebel if you wanna dabble in it for a bit!
