Your karma is controlled by other players. So make useful posts, funny posts, or posts that people agree with and hopefully other players will give you a positive rating.

Though, you shouldn't worry about it much as it's a worthless stat.

Karma... the only stat in Torn you can't pop a drug to improve.
  • Fun community engagement
  • Ideation
  • Critique
  • Suggestions (best left for Graphics or suggestions)
  • Comedy
  • I suppose you could pay... but that might backfire

I would not concern yourself too much with it the VIP section is not too exciting and the 10k karma section reserved for the very best players takes a long time getting to.

How do you raise your karma?

Do exactly the opposite the average shitposter does. Especially Marlon.

To be honest it's over rated. Like lobster.
SporkMonkey [2065017]

Lobster is the lavish cockroach of the sea that tastes good with butter.

Your average shitposter is the gold plated cockroach of Torn that turns your wrist green and gives your computer aids.

Don't be a shitposter.

You can troll the shitposters. That's fun for a little while, but it soon becomes boring, as you can only troll the same thread so many times.

You post stuff on the forums which other people like to read.

There are many ways of doing this. Being helpful, being funny, having good conversations with people etc etc etc.
