So it has recently come to my attention that the Irish Republican Army (IRA) is not considered a terrorist organization. This is an organization that according to Wikipedia "the belief that all of Ireland should be an independent republic. It was also characterized by the belief that political violence was necessary to achieve that goal" . Key words right there: Political Violence , which in this case includes bombing pubs (bars) and setting off car bombs in crowded areas. They have also at times waged active warfare against the British Army.

So, the point of this whole thing:

Why isnt the IRA considered a terrorist organization by torn staff?

The IRA are considered a terrorist group, and membership qualifies you to about 7-10 jail time. So I don't know where you are getting your facts from.

This is what confuses me too.

Im sure not all Torn staff agree with shit like this too. How do you even suppose to know what Torn staff think?

As self-dubbed president of The United States of Trapistan I hereby vow to use violence both political and sexual to establish my vision. I expect Torn Staff to dub my movement a Terrorist Organisation in response to this declaration.

The British committed genocide against the Irish during the Great Hunger. Shall we label them too?

There are a lot of ugly things that have happened throughout history.

The British government terrorised, occupied, and pillaged the globe with their white supremacy agenda. Can you name a continent where the poopy British imperialist government didn't colonise? You can't. The IRA got rid of the invading British colonisers from their country. So why isn't the British goverment considered a terrorist orgaization? It's a good thing the British government doesn't run the show on this planet anymore. No wonder the Amerikans fought against the British government and overthrew them in 1776. God bless Amerika & The Great President Donald Trump. Thanks Obama! ^o^

"Terrorism is concerned with means. It is a tactic, a method of achieving a political goal, the essential elements of which are: (1) the use of violence, (2) directed at non-combatants or civilians, (3) intended to induce extreme fear in a population or government, (4) in order to achieve a political, religious or ideological end." The IRA were freedom fighters historically, even though they sometimes used terrorist tactics. Read a book every now and then!
