Many might not know this but global was changed to level 13+ every under 13 level holders is "stuck" in newplayers chat
Newplayers chat should obviously be for newplayers only. But its also a shame to punish level holders to fix thisV
Update: theres now an "exceptions list" removing players selectivly from newplayers chat. Now this would be a big win.. buuuut you just lose newplayers chat and do NOT gain global. I feel this is unfair of course since my enjoyment in torn comes from level holding and its the same for many others.
SOLUTION: Revert back to the old age limit or as WD suggested 45-60 days. Or some sort of Active age (may not work for people who rarely come on though) or make it so this "excptions list" gives global?

I vote for this and at least maybe change it to 45 or 60 days old.
R+ It doesn't make sense for someone with an age of 1870 to be in new player's chat. With the ability to level hold, it should be based on the player's true level and not their displayed level. Or based on their age, as it was before. 45 or 60 days as per Wardog's suggestion sounds good to me.
NPC is supposed to be a place for people who are new to the game to learn together, to make friends and rivals in their first few days that they can grow along side with. It shouldn't be the level holder's chat. OP is a 5 year old experienced player and he along with other level holders like him certainly shouldn't be in New Player's Chat.

This doesn't make too much sense, but it is amusing.
Heres a holder who ABUSES his powers and baits the new players into attacking them DISCOURAGING them from playing the game!
Because if a level 1 can beat them theres no hope for success?
Its not fair for us to soak up defends from new players.. Set us free!

New Player Chat should be for that -- thus limited by age, not level. If a player only plays rarely and comes on for assistance and is days older than allowed, there are other venues to get questions answered.

R+ Besides.. those of us who moved on miss our Tilted and Kimchi, kimcha Kimche Kimcho, and kimchu :D
you could always level up to level 15 , then you could go into global chat andyou can travel as well
going buy a players age doesnt help either , when you have people that stop playing the games for months / years and then start playing again
R+, I think the days should all be active days, though, and maybe the trigger to Global could be time played and not days...any noob can sign up and forget about the game for a couple months and come back asking lots of questions.
