Ive never heard the sound notification on mobile before and now my phone is blowing up with faction chat noise. Which I have Set for when Im on my laptop not on my phone. iPhone 7 latest iOS phone is on silent.... Is this common or what? First time Ive had it happen.

I have never had this happen. Attempted to duplicate but cannot. Can you provide any more details?
Only details I have is I had No cellular service and was on a WiFi connection. But Im on WiFi all the time and never had it happen before.
Is it still an issue?
Haven't been able to replicate on either phone I have since I left where I was. But I should have recorded it for proof =/ I'm just not sure what would have caused it?
are you referring to the fact that your phone is spamming noise, when you only want 1 at a time in a reasonable fashion, or are you talking about your silence switch is on, yet sound is playing.
solution to the second issue is to play music, then lower your volume: alert volume is sometimes seperate from music (media) volume, and torn in the browser probably falls under media volume.
