Whats the advantages to being married? Disadvantages?
Marriage merits are one of the easiests to get.
Technically no disadvantage, unless your luck is so bad and end up with someone who took your money. But in most cases, spouses are able to help you improve in the game. Just never expect them to send you free stuff.
Marriage. It's what bwings us togwether todway.
Taburisu nailed both the advantages and disadvantages. Also, if you find a partner that with flower, plushie, or Xanax run with you, it halves the time it takes to get what you need to sell.

A Private Island, the best property most people can hope to obtain. Marriage lets you share one with your spouse.
for a newbs like me, advantage:
1. house sharing (either on owned property or rented)
2. friend, cz torn isn't a solo game. but i rarely talk to my spouse lol, maybe i would speak often to prevent him from kicking me out XD
3. loan, like u forgot bring money when travel to rehab or buying stuff=> common newbs problem, ur whole faction is offline and u only have 10 friends that oflline too :(
can't find disadvantage until this time
