Sunday 15th of april 2018, Templar-Knights (us) initiated an assault on DeathDealers, despite Templar-Knights having an advantage in strength, Death dealers used every last trick to hold their ground, 16 hours later, with the outcome still unclear, a truce was signed and the territory being assaulted was ceded to Templar-Knights.
Torns most expensive half day war of the year? or more?
With both factions at max med cooldown, with 1mill bounties on everyone from templar-knights stacking the wall, Templar-Knights agreed to a revive contract with PT-Ironhearts - 149 Revives costing 223.5m in a span of 12 hours - and DeathDealers spamming bounties on everyone stacking the wall to counter this.
Both sides also called in some external help, Templar-Knights calling in a team from the war rig to help stack the wall for a faster win (they did us good) and had the few guest chainers we had stay over, and Death Dealers hired hitmen to counter this, funny story: we hosped and bountied any hitmen that didn't stealth lol, gave us a few mins grace before a new hitmen was hired, it was very contested and had to spend millions by the minute.
after being up for 16 hours straight ScroogeMcDuck (leader of death dealers) and i (co leader of Templar-Knights) agreed that it was better to just let us have the 45 respect territory being assaulted as they had higher respect neutral they could claim near them, we also agreed to an allyship, as with the fighting will of the two of us, we could beat anyone. :)
Moral of the story: 500m or so wasted in 16hours for a 45 respect territory, dont ever start a territory war without hiring a few lvl 100s! lol.
War Log: https://www.torn.com/war.php?step=warreport&warID=2748
many of the hits were not made from wall as, as soon as someone medded out they were hosped from death dealers, we at templar-knights had on call revives so we had the upper hand but as attackers it was easy to knock us off the wall, we maintained a 7-13 man on the wall at most times after our chain finished, which would have just about won us the war, but the graph showed we had to maintain that for 2 days so it was a close call.
we were also chaining for 1k during this war started at 250 chain: https://www.torn.com/war.php?step=chainreport&chainID=1000103
PT-IronHearts provided us with on call revives highly recommend anyone that needs a similar contract.
