Meelee weapon mods

IDK the answer to your question but what would be considered a melee mod? Like adding spikes to them or poison on the blade or something? I'm genuinely curious because this isn't the first time I've seen someone ask about them.

I'd +R a suggestion for melee weapon mods... shrugs... not that it'd matter anyway (jaded moment) since it would end up degrading to the there's only one optimum combo and the rest would equal crap

I can see higher quality items being a thing, but it's pretty hard to modify a melee weapon after the initial construction of said weapon
