Introducing Trade Karma.

TC records trades, items traded and cash spent.... Traders spend alot of time trying to get feedback on their trading threads.

 

Well why can't we thumbs up or thumbs down a trader after the trade has been accepted or declined (expired trades dont count)

 

So for a successful trade you could thumbs up, no reply or thumbs down. Thumbs up for a good experience. Neutral if you've had minor issues... Or rarely thumbs down (unless you've been scammed)

 

If either party declines a trade, the decliner, and only the decliner can thumbs down or nuneutr but must leave a comment between 10-55 characters explaining why they declined.

The optional comment for positive thumbs up replies could also be applied.

Then after trades completed in detailed stats a trader score could be shown in brackets much like forum karma.... 

Maximum of a single reply per trade, so regular buyers can repeat upvote (max 1 vote every seven days)

where if we click the persons score we would be able to see the comments??

just like where we can click the number of forum posts and see the persons posts??

Exactly. So you would see like an ebay seller score of good feedback or mixed feedback. It would log positive neutral and negative.

There would probably have to be a way for a trader to ''argue" or debate a negative though.... Some kind of moderator may be needed

My idea wont stop buy muggings, it just lets hard working traders show their skill, by having a good score.



Play the game however you want but some people hardcore trade

The Xanax is, but build and FHC is not.  Still an element of risk.  Like life you can see someone's size - but not their fighting ability or weapons carried.  xD

I don't see what the difference is to looking at traders' thread ratings in Trading Post

Also agree that Torn is designed to have risk, why implement mugging anyways if Ched didn't want this element
