Vampyr

I bought it yesterday and didn't stop playing for about 4 hours. And I gotta say...I'm not disappointed. I expected a brutal bloody story and I got just that.

So, anyone here played it yet? And if so, what do you think of it to this point?

The game looks interesting, even though i've only seen about of 30 mins of game play so far.

But i've been trying to control my impulse buying of games, and it is always better to wait a few days to see where the critic lands before i commit anyway.

It lost the #1 in steam sales quite fast though, so i'm guessing it's not all that much convincing to the masses or it is suffering from having been cracked already.

 

I only saw some trailers and people talk about it beforehand, and usually I never buy a game so quickly or even at full price, but this time...I just couldn't wait. And regardless of what other people will say, compared to going to the movies it was already worth it, moneywise.

you dont sound too happy with it. is it dope? the game honestly had alot of hype. i had high expectations tbh

Well, I usually play a little different types of games. I usually play FPS and stealth games, but this reminded me actually a bit of that time I tried playing Bloodborne. It's extremely difficult for me to get through, especially the boss fights are incredibly tough.

But I really like the concept that you have to sacrifice your humanity to get stronger and make the game easier. So it's basically my own fault it's so difficult for me ^^

hmm cool. yeah i saw some vids of the fighting system. not really my style. the story seemed really cool tho.

im more excited by Detroit becoming human i think. get to start a android revolution :3 haha

I'd love to play that too, but I don't have a PS4...

I'll just count on Cyberpunk 2077, pretty sure that'll be out on PC.
