Honestly when you join in a faction such as dud's it's hard for anyone to take you seriously.  I can understand with all the shit that is slung from this faction why staff dont take it seriously. They have other things to do with their time.

How many forum threads are there about the unprofessionalism of staff? I posted some suggestions in an "Open Letter" forum thread earlier. 

As to blocking a player, I voted no as I do not think it is appropriate or professional to block a player who has a question or complaint. I feel terrible that people can't even ask a question without getting a hostile response from staff. I know not all staff are this way but clearly after my looking around the forums in the last two days I get a sense this is too common of an issue to be ignored at this point. 

How many of these threads were started by people who weren't members of TRT? (The OP isn't now, but was when this thread was started).

Trolls get treated as such. I don't see it as unprofessional for staff to block somebody if they're being a nuisance and wasting staff time. More power to them.

Staff is responsible for receiving and dealing with player issues. If they block someone and there is a legitimate issue then they are no longer doing their job as staff if a player cannot communicate with them. 

I am not saying they should have to endure abuse but how easy is it to minimize a window or just wait to open mails of a player that is ranting. Also, muting the player from being able to use chat, mail, im, or forums for a short cool down period would be more acceptible than to all out block a player.

Staff blocking a player because they don't agree with them or like what is being written is not a solution in my opinion. 

How is blocking them different to ignoring them? At least when somebody is blocked they know it and can go to another staff member. What about if a player is chat banned? If only there were other processes in place for dealing with these issues...

Processes other than whiny threads that is.

Staff should not play. They should only fix/help. 

Theres several topics already on the inconsistencies of how staff handle problems, also how they handle certain players who they may have a interest in or whether they have a axe to grind. If they weren’t allowed to play there would be less chances of them doing something to “help” one player vs help destroy one player.

I am not here for the karma, I am here to give my unwanted opinion just like you do.

Plus, I am also here to stand up for what is right and help those who ask for help. 

Staff can not block players, maybe ignore your chats and mails though. If you can’t get tiller to respond try contacting another staff to help. If you feel the staff abused there power then send a mail to a higher staff member or Ched. Or maybe stop being a twat and staff will help you with your questions!

Every dealing with staff I have had has been professional and mature. I may not always like the outcome or agreed with what's been said, but I have found they treat you with the same level of respect you treat them. it seems to be the same with most reasonable adults.

I think this is a good idea. Thumbs up buddy.
