Quite the achievement indeed, whereas we had room to drastically further smash that record....after all, we only did it with 68 members :/

Many thanks to all who chipped in :D

Pretty sure the number of members that participated in a chain is completely irrelevant to the amount of respect gained.

Once again you're failing to see the point someone is making.. Yeah its irrelevant in terms off how much respect gained.

But its an achievement with so little member participation compared to the rest of faction.

Doing a 5k with only 68 member participation is an achievement. Yes you should be able to do it with half. But need all time zones covered.

Once again you're failing to read a post.  The point that he was making was that if they had more members, they would have gained even more respect, as shown by the fact that the record they broke was for total respect gained and in his comment he claims they could have further beaten that record if they had more members.
Pinhead [996668]

Well yeah more hitters would mean able to hit more people for fair fight. We didn't have so many members to hit for fair fight all the time
Nova [1570883]

You don't need more hitters to achieve more 'fair fight bonus,' just have the ones making the hits take more suitable targets.
Nova [1570883]

I'd actually argue that it's easier to obtain higher respect totals with less members since it is easier to organise them and make sure they are hitting targets that will maximise respect gains.
Richie-Blaze [2070556]

Nova is too focused on number of members as to the capacity or participation of members present. Variables come into play when a chain is running. Of the 68 members quite a few had less than 20 hits, plus those who could only hit filler targets cause wall targets available were too tough for them. Then u had members who were mainly hitting low respect targets who were easy to beat. All in All, if we had more members who could consistently hit those wall targets. Surely our respect total would have been a lot further than what it's at....no argument there :)

Nova [1570883]

By that logic having less members would have also furthered your respect count if the people who couldn't make wall hits or were making low respect hits just didn't hit at all and the chain lasted slightly longer.

I'd suggest targetting players lvl90+ if you really want to maximize your respect though.

An also, missions generally give you targets stronger than you, while to get a full fair faight you only need to attack people a bit weaker than you, meaning using those mission targets might cost you too much hp unecessarily.

Don't know the actual threshold, that nerd Prox prob did the math on it.

These targets are collected over months, so I am now stronger than them all but still get the x3 bonus which adds up nicely. But yes +90 targets are a good idea if you can beat enough of them, only level 100's on bonus hits
