We've just opened up the new Bookies 2.0 system into public beta. While the system has been thoroughly tested, we thought it'd be prudent to give it a round of limited public testing to see if we can find any last remaining issues and observe how it operates under load.
Under these test conditions, bets are limited to a maximum of $100,000 each. We'll be increasing this limit over time.
- Bookies 2.0 is not manually populated by staff. They are now provided by Betfair and automatically added, updated and credited.
- Due to the above, hundreds of matches / races from a wide range of sports are available every day, and payouts should happen almost immediately after conclusion of the matches.
- Sports tabs, category / division tabs and an instant search bar will help you find the exact matches you're looking for.
- The new bookie does not utilize cashiers checks, instead winnings can be withdrawn from the new bookie page.
- Bets made are final, they cannot be removed once placed due to live updating odds.
- Sport types are currently fairly limited, more will be added over time.
- Additional features will be released at a later point - for example bookie icons.
- Upon full release, the old bookie system will be closed. Existing bets within the old system will still be paid out when due.
