My family all received 403 forbidden messages last night, and after some digging, saw that it is linked to too many request to the Torn site. As my faction is chaining, I had many tabs open as I normally do which seems to have led to the block. It was rectified a couple hours later.

This afternoon, with only 8 tabs open, and being mindful not yo refresh too quickly, my household has yet again been hit with a 403 forbidden message. This is very frustrating. This is the first time we have run into issues with the game before and it is doubly frustrating to discover that there is no support to contact, just a bugs forum, which I can only access via my phone obviously.

Please advise as to how to stop getting these blockages!!

Anything that causes more requests than generally expected may result in a temporary block like this.

i suggest (for now), limiting yourself to one tab, and turning off scripts and addons.

I'm marking this resolved - we made some changes ~10 days ago that we believe made the false positive rate acceptable. If you are still having this issue, please search for existing threads and add your details to it. Thanks!
