Hey guys,
I am sure that a I read something about the recommended percentage of your training stats (speed, dex etc...).
Sadly I can´t find it anymore, or just outdated info.
Can anyone help me out herer, pls?
Thx in advance,
Rick
Balanced stats = 25%, 25%, 25%, 25%.
Ultimately, the argument is Defense > Dex, but even then when it comes to attacking your opponent balanced stats gets the W every single time.
Go to questions and answers and ask the question again.
thanks Ted...
And Pan: go check a phonebook, if all the numbers are in the right order.. ^^
I thought it was Def
"Dex is sex" comes to mind.
i think what you're looking for is in this thread made by Vladar
https://www.torn.com/forums.php#!p=threads&f=61&t=16025224&b=0&a=0taking it from his thread if you're too lazy to check it
32% Dexterity28% Speed22% Strength18% Defense

Def > Dex is used because def provides assurity that zero damage can be achieved at (12x?) the strengtg. However same dex the multiple of speed, there will still be a small chance someone would get hit. Never Zero %.
Different combos will help you against different types of combos of stats. Any person telling you about a perfect ratio is BSing you and themselves.
Important not to leave a stat behind though, all are important. For now, try cap all 4. 1 by 1 or 2 by 2.
Str Spd will win you fights when attacking cos youll be getting an extra hit. So play the game and figure out the ratio for you. Go through your own learning curve and adopt the ratio that suits your gameplay.
but defense is winfense!
Also in that thread:
"But Vladar, you are saying - this must be wrong because I like the way my stats are, or I lost to a ::FILL IN STAT HERE:: whore, or blah blah blah. I have news for you - THIS PROBABLY IS NOT THE BEST REAL WORLD STAT BUILD. Many things happen in real fights that I cannot account for, I am simply looking a theoretically perfect, balanced case to see what the results are."
TL;DR: Whoring is bad, balance can be countered, the above suggestion is the "mathematically perfect" answer.
i only answered for what he said he was looking for, he said he read the best percentage, that's the only thread that i can remember that said it mathematically, everything else says balanced which is 25%
and tbh, i got no clue what's the best thing to go with, between Vladar's or 25% each..
Tbf you can’t have 25% each. There are passives to be accounted for. From education, faction, and job perks. Vladar’s calculation discounted the passives cause each player have it differently.
At the end of the day, it’s all up to your playing style. Some players may have it balanced with certain edge on a specific stat just enough to unlock special gyms, some others go to try for 25% balance.
The whole point of training is to make you fight better right? So you spend your play money on training your stats so you can fight better.
With that in mind if you want to gain fighting power exotic stat builds DO NOT WORK. If your aim in training is to fight better.
You can take all the xanax, FHC, energy cans, energy refills and even stat enhancers you can afford. If you only train 1 or 2 stats you can still be weak even after having spent a fortune on training.
You need to train all 4 stats. If you have 3 stats at 300 million or whatever and 1 at 50 billion i will beat you no problem.
I have been beating people who chew on stat enhancers for years. Years doesnt mean since last year it means since about 5 years ago or more ....
That to me shows there are a LOT of rich nooblets who only train 1 stat and spend a fortune doing it.
You have to train all 4 stats.
All 4 of your stats dont have to be exactly the same. But if your smaller stats are really small you will notice it in fights with players who train all 4 stats.
Yes. In my thread I pretty well showed that totally ignoring or whoring any stat is a terrible, terrible idea. The "perfect" results I ended up with are really if each player had 0 passive boosts and were each using 50/50 weapons and each had no armor on, and did not use temporaries. There are soooooo many factors to account for.
I will say I am fairly convinced that speed/dex are better to have a little more of than strength/defense, but you STILL need to train all four.
Gurss i am a bit late but this is going to Q&A
If you have the same total amount, then roughly balanced is best. It doesn't need to be exact, but all stats matter and you don't want to have any one stat that is massively behind the others.
That being said, having higher stats helps. As a general rule, the guy with much higher stats is going to beat the guy with much lower stats.
So as you get to higher levels, there are reasons to get a bit unbalanced. Special gyms give better results than George's gym, and those require your stats not be completely balanced. Using them lets you gain more when you train, so IMO that imbalance is worth it, and that leaves you with the question of "which stat do I want to be my high stat" for purposes of special gyms.
Similarly, people who use lots of stat enhancers get more if they focus the stat enhancers on one stat. If they are doing that, then they should probably never train that stat in the gym - it's already going to be far ahead of their others, so the others should get the gym trains.
