So basically 1 = 2. How? Let's go through the proof

Proof:

1. Let a = b

2. a^2 = ab cuz a = b (and if your multiplying the same thing twice, its multiplying the other side twice, cuz they're both the same)

3. a^2 - b^2 = ab - b^2 (Just algebra, what you do to one side, you do to the other)

4. (a+b)(a-b) = b(a-b) (This is simplifying the powers)

5. a + b = b (If you noticed, both sides of the equation have a-b so you can divide both sides out)

6. b + b = b (This may look odd but remember the initial statement that a = b so we can substitute b for any a you see in here)

7. b( 1 + 1) = b (Since there are 2 b's, you can substitute b and get 1 + 1 since b * 1 = b and b * 1 = b)

8. 2b = b (You can add up the b's in the left side and multiply it out and you will get 2b.)

9. 2 = 1 (Final step is to divide both sides by b and you will get that 2 = 1)

(I DID NOT MAKE THIS, SOMEONE ELSE DID, and IT"S HIS CREDIT NOT MINE, YARRRR)

This its flawed, basically you are dividing by 0, what its not defined. So the rest of the maths are flawed.
